Dr. Taftian specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine from the world renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. His clinical expertise enables him to treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the spinal cord, nerves, brain, joints, bones, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Dr. Taftian’s purpose is to improve functional outcomes with individualized treatment plans in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. His philosophy is to return patients to their highest level of performance and focuses his attention and practice on minimally invasive treatment options. He understands that pain can have an impact on every aspect of a patient’s life, and consequently provides comprehensive treatment solutions

Job Details
Our medical facility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with physical medicine and rehabilitation needs
- Conduct physical exams and medical histories
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing healthcare practices and technologies
