Responsibilities
Join the dynamic Radiation Oncology team.

The Radiation Oncology NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).

In collaboration with the supervising physician, attending physicians, fellows, and residents, the NP is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for patients in the Radiation Oncology Department.

The NP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care.

The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, tumor boards, and provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.

Document services rendered. 
This position is primarily based in Westwood, but may be required to work in Santa Monica and other community sites as needed.
Qualifications MSN with a Nurse Practitioner Specialty in Acute Care-required.

Active CA RN and CA NP License -required.

Active BLS and ACLS certification-required.

Oncology experience as a RN or NP
– required.

Radiation Oncology or GU experience strongly preferred.  National Certification in NP Specialty-required.

Ability to travel between Westwood, Santa Monica and other community sites as needed-required.

Will consider New Graduate NP (NPI)
NP I less than 6 months of NP experience
NP II : 6months or greater of NP experience
– preferred
