Job Summary: Provide high quality timely care to patients while evaluating and managing their needs.
Responsibilities & Duties: Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories and record relevant data in the medical records.
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic, radiological and laboratory studies appropriate for the patient’s condition.
Serve as the resource a patient needs for ongoing care information, and provide guidance for any patients and family with critical or chronic conditions.
Adhere to ethical standards of conduct as well as applicable state and federal laws.
Work collaboratively with all members of the clinical care team and demonstrate respect for all colleagues.
Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills: Must be licensed Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
1-3 years of experience working in a hospital setting preferred or prior hospital nursing experience.
Shift Requirements: Night Shift: 3
– 12 hour days & 1
– 8 hour day per every two weeks.
