A rare opportunity to lead a busy Emergency Department now available at a 150-bed acute care hospital in Southern California. This non-profit hospital is actively interviewing for a Nurse Director Emergency Department.
The ED Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be part of the hospital leadership team. This medical center has been providing care to southern Los Angeles County for 50 years and houses one of the busier Emergency Rooms seeing over 60,000 patients annually. The Emergency Room Nurse Director will oversee a highly function Emergency Dept. nursing team and many of the nurses have their Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credentials.
The Emergency Department has 10 patient beds and the Critical Care Unit has 12 bed with room for overflow. This hospital offers certified pediatric emergency services and is well-known for their cardiac services, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics and oncology. The Emergency Services Nurse Director will be proud to work at a hospital that has been recognized to have exceptional quality in a broad range of services which include: Cardiac Care, Critical Care, Gastrointestinal Care, Maternity Care, Orthopedics, Pulmonary Care, Stroke, Vascular Care, and Women’s Health Care.
