Seeking AMFT or ACSW needed for busy Reseda Mental Health Department. Responsible for the treatment, evaluation and diagnostic duties of our adult outpatient program. Must have strong clinical, communication and writing skills. Attention to timely completion of progress notes, treatment plans and intake evaluations. Eligible candidate has experience with DMH paperwork and Medi-Cal billing protocols. Applicant is responsible for developing and demonstrating appropriate skills and knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (i.e. suspected abuse: Tarasoff, professional boundaries and related issues). Also, therapist is responsible for demonstrating appropriate skills in providing crisis intervention services, psychological emergency interventions and assessments, including determining need for 5150 evaluations. Experience in working with LGBTQ, addiction, Spanish or Farsi language skills a plus.
