In this role you will manage and supervise unlicensed clinical staff day-to-day with the support of our Clinical Director and Administrative Team. You will be joining a vibrant and passionate group of clinicians who work children and families. Supervision of unlicensed clinicians is expected to have the following characteristics: Face-to-face in-person meetings between the Supervisor and the unlicensed staff member, usually in periods of approximately one hour each, usually scheduled 1x a week. The learning process should be sustained and intense. Supervision focuses on the needs derived from an unlicensed staff member’s continuing clinical practice, which is primarily available to the supervisor through a written clinical documentation and verbal report from supervisee. It is a process clearly distinguishable from personal psychotherapy and is contracted in order to serve professional goals Responsibilities: Provides leadership for staff, families, and others associated with the service Builds a team of quality mental health professionals Manages daily operations and all service delivery components AKA treatment model. Provides supervision and clinical training to multidisciplinary staff Participates in individual and group supervision Provides sub coverage or delegated supervision for other clinical supervisors as needed Maintains and complies with all supervisor qualifications from licensure board Qualifications: CA State Licensure for a minimum of 2 years as either a Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP).
