Provide clinical services and oversight as the LPHA for the Drug Medical Outpatient Treatment Program.   Provide direct and indirect services to all clinical and case management program staffing and enrolled client population. Attend all Administrative meetings as scheduled and provide program leadership role in absence of Program Coordinator/Director. 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provide direct and indirect client services.
The MH Clinician I will assist and advise designated program clinical and case management staff in required documentation standards.  Will work with staff to ensure all required documentation standards of timeliness and accuracy are adhered to.
As requested by management and/or program staff will assist in assessing client’s level of psychosocial impairment, self-care potential, family and support network availability.
Back-up to facilitating daily dispositions, available to staff in the absence of Program Coordinator.  Responsible for administering crisis and day-to-day functions of the Program when Program Coordinator is not available. 
Complete all documentation within mandated time frames and in compliance with county, state, and Center guidelines.  Oversee reporting and timely submission to SAPC.  Monitor paperwork and documentation of staff. Utilize SAGE, SBAT and all SAPC databases required by contract.
Maintain caseload of enrolled clients. Work with Program Coordinator in assigning new clients to staff caseloads, or changes/adjustments in staff caseloads.  Attend all Center documentation and QA meetings, or other meetings assigned by Director.
Provide crisis intervention – intervene with the client/others at the onset of a crisis to provide support and assistance in problem resolution and to coordinate or arrange for the provision of other needed services.  Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; participate in staff and clinical meetings and community meetings as assigned.
Assure that monthly Chart review is performed and work with Staff Assistant I in securing all required documentation for completeness of chart review.
Facilitate weekly Staff meetings and/or other program meetings in absence of Program Coordinator, or as assigned by Director.  Oversee all administrative duties in absence of Program Coordinator.  Oversee SAPC charting requirements, and part of Program Quality Assurance and weekly meetings to monitor charts.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION:
The ideal candidate must have a master’s waivered degree in field of social work or counseling or psychology or related field.  Two year post experience with homeless, mentally ill.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years experience in a behavioral health care; experience with homeless chronic mentally ill.  Knowledge of DSM-V required.  Chemical dependency experience preferred.
Knowledge and ability to work with a culturally diverse population. Bilingual, Spanish preferred.
Must have a good driving record and insurable by Center Insurance company.
