Medical Laboratory Scientist Opportunity in Beautiful Southern Oregon!

Asante Three Rivers MedicalCenter is a modern hospital in Grants Pass devoted to blending the most up-to-date treatments with the timeless principles of holistic care. The Laboratory at Three Rivers Medical Center conducts approximately 1.5 million tests per year.Our team of skilled professionals covers a full range of specialties, including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology.We are passionate about diagnostic testing and using the latest methodologies and equipment available.Our employees feel purposeful and cultivate a culture of acceptance and collaboration to encourage learning, growth and mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university including courses in biological science, chemistry, and mathematics and completion of a Medical Laboratory Science program with the last 5 years is required. PLEASE NOTE: Additional experience accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree for grandfathered MT’s certified by ASCP).

Experience 

• None outside of licensure is required 

Licensure/Certifications

One of the following is required:

• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certified by the ASCP Board of Certification or equivalent (MT by AMT), or
• Eligibility for Medical Laboratory Scientist MLS (ASCP) certification exam at time of hire, with successful completion of MLS (ASCP) certification exam within 6 months of hire
