Savannah OfficeRESPONSIBILITIESPosition Summary: The primary duties for the medical scribe are to accompany the physician into the exam room in order to document each patient’s interaction with the doctor.
Scribes will use the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in real-time to document dictation from the physician.
Scribes are clerical in nature and are not patient care providers.QUALIFICATIONS
•A minimum of one year in the healthcare field is required and experience in a direct patient care environment highly preferred.
•Strong knowledge of medical terminology required.
•High school diploma, GED or equivalent education is required.
•Valid driver’s license required for travel between clinics.
