Your responsibilities
Evaluate explanation of benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies, patients and government agencies and send appropriate payments. Uphold data integrity while posting account adjustments in a timely fashion- Post patient payments to the appropriate line item charge
Job Requirements:
– Experience with Microsoft Office required
– Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
– High School diploma or equivalent required
– Minimum of 2+ years payment posting or medical billing experience
– Command of Basic Medical Terminology
– Deep understanding of medical billing
– Medical Payment Poster experience desired
– HMO PPO experience
– Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required
