Compensation: $18.32 to $24.00 hourly
A Regional Medical Billing Office is currently in the need of a Medical Collector to conduct insurance follow up. The right candidate must have the ability to effectively follow up the insurance companies via phone and through online web portals. Additional duties include:
• Contacting insurance payers and follow up on unpaid claims
• Contacting private and/or government insurance payers for payments
• Review EOBs and insurance correspondence
• Correcting denied claims and drafting appeals
• Perform tasks as assigned by manager
