They provides vision, dental, psychiatric, medical and other healthcare benefits to members (and their dependents) of creative industries. About the Position:
Processing claims
Determining eligibility
Determining coverage of claims under health plan
Help determine deductible and calculate the percentages of coverage
Follow-up on pending claims
Work on projects as assigned
Act in accordance with all HIPAA guidelines

Job Requirements:
About the Candidate:
Medical terminology, ICD10 and CPT codes knowledge (MUST)
Strong mathematical skills, especially with percentages (MUST)
Knowledge of plan benefits, group insurance and medicare principles (MUST)
3+ years experience in health claims processing (PLUS)
Detail oriented (MUST)
Personality and Characteristics: punctuality, “can-do” attitude, strong organizational skills, multi-tasker, interpersonal skills, team player, ability to prioritize, able to meet deadlines, able to work in fast paced environment, solid customer service skills
