ALC DIagnostics is seeking a medical biller with data entry experience for clinical laboratory billing.Primary Job Functions: Daily/weekly Upload to Billing software Enters payments receipts if needed and ensure correct allocations and distribution Performs monthly, closing, and balancing reports, if needed Reviews monthly reports Maintains online billing file/records Participates in educational activities, training activities, mandatory company meetings; Maintainsstrictest confidentiality and adheres to all Health InsurancePortability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines/regulations Maintains a high level of customer service with both internal and external customers Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.Must be able to work efficiently in both an individual and teamsituation Processing Refunds where applicable RequirementsFull Time Salaried, $41,744 per annum or part time hourlyAdditional Skill set like Administrative assistant , medical assistant, lab assistant is desirableOnsite-position in Des Plaines, IllinoisBenefitsHealth Insurance
