POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager, Health Systems, will be responsible for developing segment strategy, demand generation and sales enablement to drive growth in the Health Systems segment in the USA.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver and execute upon strategic marketing plan:
* Develop and execute a marketing plan for the Health Systems segment in the USA
* Identify customer needs and investigate existing and potential channels and market opportunities to sell existing on-market products
* Capture insight from customers and sales to develop portfolio and segment specific marketing strategies
* Monitor market data to identify market trends and opportunities within the Laboratories segment
* Partner with Global Marketing, Americas Product Managers, Operations, and the Sales team to ensure the successful launch of new products into Health Systems segment
Drive awareness and demand for Cepheid products and services
* Build and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with commercial pivotal initiatives
* Develop content for outbound marketing campaigns via traditional and digital marketing channels
* Oversee and support tradeshows and industry events (planning, activities, collateral, lead generation, etc.)
* Establish and maintain relationships with key partners
* Deliver VIP customer programs intended to drive customer engagement and loyalty
* Execute Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs to drive awareness and build sales funnel for the Health Systems segment in the USA.
Achieve business objectives and revenue targets:
* Accountable for revenue and market penetration for responsible Health Systems segment and relative product portfolio
* Drive lead generation and acceleration of opportunities into the sales funnel
* Track and analyze marketing campaign results
* Partner with product management and sales to redirect tactics based on analysis of lead generation rates, win/loss ratios, market share trends, deal profitability and competitor performance
* Provide substantial and significant insights to provide strategic direction for the commercial organization
TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR
* Master’s degree in a field with 6+ years of related work experience OR
* Doctoral degree in a field with 3+ years of work experience.
Knowledge and skills:
* Marketing plan and development of coordinated marketing campaigns is preferred
* Demonstrates knowledge of products and their application
* Communicates effectively and strong teammate/collaborator with various internal constituents, customers, and other partners
* Excellent presentation skills; able to multi-task across a broad number of products and disease states
* Previous experience working with Health Systems accounts within the USA from either a Sales or Marketing perspective.
Physical requirements/abilities:
* Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions.
