Our residential facilities are comprised of teams of professionals who help to transform the lives of our homeless/dual-diagnosed/formerly incarcerated population.
We are working to exact change in our communities.At VSN, we work with individuals getting out of jail, who have mental health, substance use issues (dual-diagnosed), and have often experienced homelessness.
These clients were selected to participate in a community-based restoration program, where they receive therapy in our residential facilities, from our team of experts.

The role of the nurse is extremely important!
You help stabilize them by making sure they take their meds.
The girls and guys we get to work with are beyond amazing and we want to hire people with a heart for helping those in need.VSN (LVN) Job Duties and Requirements:VSN Nurses are responsible for providing patient care by administering medication, Injections, observing and monitoring clients, creating an environment that is conducive to the growth and independence of our clients.Dispose of unused medications and sharps according to VSN’s policy.
· HIPPA compliant
· Perform CPR in emergencies
· Perform Wellness checks and document on proper forms
· Collaborate with members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
· Update medication according to Doctors orders.
· Participate in trainings
· Monitor the environment of the assigned work area to ensure the cleanliness, safety and compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
· Update master medication sheet each time a change is made
· Function within the scope of your license
· Reconcile clients when new medication is ordered to reduce the risk of medication errors, including duplications, dosing errors and drug interactions
· Maintain, develop and update nursing skills to implement ideal patient careNurse Requirements
· Valid LVN license
· Must demonstrate knowledge & awareness of medication action, side effects and protocols for use.
· Must have good communication and ability to function as a team player.
· Must maintain a professional attitude.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00
