This full-time career opportunity is fully benefitted and is based near Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.

Responsibilities The Oncology LPN works under the direction of the direction of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager and functions within the LPN Scope of Practice.The LPN provides care for the patient.

This includes age appropriate interventions that meet physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs.

The LPN is responsible for coordination and delivery of high-quality care.

Includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care and recording treatment in medical record.

The LPN assists with patient and family education.

They are responsible for attending and participating in staff meetings, in-services, special projects and continued education.

Job Requirements: Required Minimum Education: Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
