Licensed Clinical Director (IOP/PHP)

Founded in 1996, Monte Nido & Affiliates specializes in the treatment of eating disorders for all genders and includes five distinct clinical programs: Monte Nido, Walden Behavioral Care, Clementine, Oliver-Pyatt Centers, and Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders.
For over two decades, our tenured and expert staff — which includes recovered professionals — has delivered treatment that leads to full recovery.

We are seeking a Clinical Director (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to provide oversight of our PHP/IOP programs at Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of California, located in Los Angeles in the Brentwood region.  This location provides treatment for adults and adolescents of all genders, utilizing group therapy, individual therapy, nutritional expertise, and movement support.

 

The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical quality of our treatment program. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring quality care, continuous quality improvement, appropriate staffing, and budget responsibility.

 

Salary: $105,000-$115,000 plus an excellent benefit package

 

$5,000 bonus! 

 

Responsibilities Include::

  • Ensure overall clinical quality of programming with continuous improvement, staffing, and fiscal responsibility.

  • Directly lead clinical therapists through mentoring and coaching; assist therapists interacting with insurance payers.

  • Model normalized eating habits by eating meals to completion with clients and staff while working at mealtimes.

  • At times, the Clinical Director might conduct individual therapy, group therapy, or family therapy.

  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning with the entire treatment team.

  • Providing safe, affirming and empathetic support across multiple populations

  

Qualifications::

  • Active California State Clinical license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) and have the ability to clinical supervise staff
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred; may substitute leadership experience elsewhere.

  • Working knowledge of admissions and intake, Utilization Review, and 3rd party or insurance payers.

  • Previous experience with Joint Commission and regulatory standards compliance is desired.

  • Ability to manage budgets and utilize KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) is preferred.

  • Experience in an Eating Disorder program or other residential behavioral health setting is very helpful.

  • Knowledge of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices
