Pay and Benefits:
Starting at $33 an hour
Paid every Friday.
Insurance available for Full-Time Employees (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week)
Shift:
40 hours a week, 7am-3:30pm
Must work every other weekend.
Term: 13 weeks with eligibility to renew
Assignment Information:
DHS/LAC County- Los Angeles General Medical Center is currently in need of Licensed Vocational Nurses with a minimum of one (1) year of inpatient Medical Surgical experience responsible for providing high-quality care to patients suffering from various retinal conditions. LVN would be assisting ophthalmologists and retina specialists during examinations and procedures. Preferences include Spanish speaking and have clinical experience in ophthalmology and proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostic techniques to assist with procedures.
Job Requirements:
Must pass Drug Screen and Fingerprint
Must have one year inpatient Ophthalmology Med Surg experience
Credential and Certification:
Active Licensed Vocational Nurse license
Current American Heart Association BLS
MAB or CPI
LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City)
Spanish-speaking preferred
Current TB (if you have a positive TB, Chest X-ray is required)
Proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu (Medical and Religious waiver available)
