Urgent Care Physician-The Judge Group
Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a Physician to work at a busy Urgent Care Facility in Los Angeles, CA!
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
(no nights, no weekends, no holidays)
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care and minor procedures.
- Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice.
- Accurately and thoroughly document your patient encounter and ensure accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as be a team player.
- Must be able to collaborate with professionals within the facility, other medical providers, and external agencies.
- Ensure the use of standardized and consistent Occupational medical procedures/processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Occupational Medicine and provide consultative advice and insight on unique medical cases, patient situations and/or client issues.
- Communicate and work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high-quality medical treatment and client services.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine
- Active CA Physician license
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for California
- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
