Job Description Job Description RN (Registered Nurse) performs responsible supervisory and professional work in directing and coordinating all nursing units. The individual must have had advanced training and broad nursing experience including supervisory duties. The work requires administrative ability, knowledge of training techniques, the ability to adapt techniques and procedures in accordance with unusual situations, and the exercise of initiative and good judgment. The work is conducted according to standards of professional nursing practices, center policies, rules and regulations, and State and Federal standards. Locations: Los Angeles, CA, San Fernando Valley, and South Bay Location Classification:: Shifts Fulltime/Part-time Monday-Sunday Compensation: $50-55.00/hr Benefits: medical, dental, vision Extremely flexible – 2 days min – build your own schedule Job Duties Completes an initial assessment of patient and family to determine home care needs. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es). Regularly re-evaluates patient nursing needs. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. Develops a care plan, which establishes goals based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process. Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs. Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan of care. Identifies discharge planning needs as part of the care plan development and implements prior to discharge of the patient. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the DON concerning the operation of the nursing unit/shift Assure that the unit area is maintained in a clean and safe manner for patient comfort and convenience by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained to perform such duties/services License/Certification: RN (Required) Nursing: 1 year (Preferred) Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Preferred) BLS Certification (Preferred) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Travel nursing, Temporary Salary: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour Benefits: Dental Insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Vision insurance Standard shift: Day shift Night shift Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availability License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Preferred) Work Location: On the road Company Description Nurchure Staffing Solutions, LLC prides on employing high-quality medical professionals, who are ready for duty when needed.
