Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Healthcare Analytics Lead.
The Healthcare Analytics Lead provides essential support to all analytic functions within the provider cost transparency program, which includes interaction with various cross-functional teams within a client and external workgroups.

This person is responsible for providing expertise in the area of provider cost transparency, representing the client.

The Healthcare Analytics Lead will lead a team of analysts who support member facing web-based tools which provide treatment cost estimates and member out-of-pocket costs.

The analytic team is responsible for maintaining and running highly complex SQL queries, pulling claims and member data.

These tools are invaluable in providing our members with the best possible information when making important healthcare decisions.

The manager will provide operational and technical leadership to the analytic team.

The Healthcare Analytics Lead will also coordinate the implementation of each release of the data supporting our transparency tools, ensuring accuracy and quality of the data.

The ideal candidate possesses provider transparency analytics management, excellent presentation skills, project management skills, organizational skills, analytic skills, self-starter and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Ability to strategically lead in a manner that ensures the Transparency Analytics Team provides accurate and timely analytics.

Provides direction to Transparency Analytics Team to drive improvements or updates in SQL coding as needed.

Works with analytics team to identify methodologies for coding various treatment categories, using claims data Familiarity with claims coding, including: CPT/HCPC codes, ICD diagnosis, Revenue Codes, etc.

Represents the client on external workgroups with the greater Association, influencing decisions and recommendations.

Participates in internal workgroups, which are tasked with implementing federal legislative requirements around provider cost transparency .

Reviews analysis and providing guidance/recommendations for improvement.

Ensures team is meeting all timelines for data releases Provides oversite of validation and quality checks in data submissions.

Knowledgeable about healthcare-related governmental regulations, procedures, and requirements.

Continuous learning as additional information is released.

Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
In order to create an effective team, every individual must have:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably an advanced degree Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, written and verbal Ability to drive/engage the team in order to successfully complete projects.

Desire to help our team, the client, and our members.

Ability to manage projects/timelines to achieve successful outcomes.

Excellent Technical/analytic skills.

Healthcare background, particularly knowledge of provider costs/claims/transparency tools.
