We believe that great things can happen when we create space for people to light fully . This is a full – time LVN position at our Adult programs located in the Los Angeles area. The schedule for this role is Monday – Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. Job Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides basic nursing care to clients and provides aid, supervision, and protective oversight of clients during assigned shifts. Major Responsibilities: Upholds and maintains the Company, mission, and values (called the Lightfully “Shining Commitments”). Supports each client’s physical and psychological safety. Completes accurate and timely documentation of client behavior and presentation and ensures that documentation accurately reflects all changes in client’s condition. Transports clients to outside doctor’s appointments when needed. Provides one-on-one assistance to clients in crisis as directed by the nurse or clinical team and the client’s plan of care. Coordinates medical care for clients (including scheduling with the onsite psychiatrist and outside appointments). Works closely with the site-level psychiatrist to assist in medication management for clients. Performs and records basic biometrics for clients (e.g., blood pressure). Oversees client self-administration of medication. Performs weekly nursing assessment. Upholds client confidentiality and maintains professional boundaries, demeanor, dress and interaction with clients, family members, visitors, and coworkers. Works closely with the Program Manager and Compliance Director to ensure an environment of safety. Performs other duties, as assigned. Specific Skills/Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. General Skills and Requirements: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Able to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience working with adult populations. Complete First Aid Training (First Aid Certificate). Complete required health screening, TB clearance, Criminal Record Clearance. Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of California. Mental Health Experience; preferred. The pay range for this role is: $28.00 – $44.00 This is an exciting opportunity to help us build something from the ground up.
