– Front Office Administrator Our Zionsville location is seeking a full time Front Office Administrator.
This is a key customer service role required for the support of our patients, physical therapists, and overall office operations.

Job Summary The role of a Front Office Administrator is the initial point of contact with patients and a liaison between patients and clinic staff.
They are responsible for being able to effectively and professionally communicate company policies, procedures, insurance and benefits information while providing exceptional customer service.
The position is responsible for following all office, compliance, Medicare and HIPAA privacy and security policies.
Responsibilities and Duties Answers phones, takes and/or triages calls, and relays messages in a professional and timely manner.
Schedules patients for services to assure treatment goals are met.
Manages the schedule, waitlist and rescheduling needs for efficient operations.
Communicates with patients clearly explaining the clinics practices for insurance, payment, and scheduling appointments.
Contacts insurance companies before the patients first visit to verify insurance coverage and obtain authorization when required.
Communicates with patients to explain what will or will not be covered.
Meets with patients on their first visit to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed before treatment begins.
Collects patients co-payments at each office visit.
Reminds patients of the clinic’s policy that requires co-pays and other cash services be paid each visit.
Processes incoming correspondence including mail, email, voicemail and fax requests in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Performs other office support work for PT team as needed.
Assists to ensure compliance with Federal, Medicare and contractual guidelines and company compliance policies Qualifications and Skills Min.
High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or college level business courses preferred.
Previous experience in a busy medical office or similar face-to-face customer service environment requiring strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills required.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective computer and technology skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
Demonstrated interest in self-development and the development of the staff.
