Family Based Mental Health Worker

Accountability Summary:Full-time position offering exciting opportunities to make lasting changes in the lives of the families and children in your community.

Qualified applicants work to strengthen family relationships through guided therapeutic intervention and serve as advocates for the children and adolescents that they work with.

Family Based work offers you the opportunity to receive specialized training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy and the experience of collaborating within may social service systems.

The Family Based therapist works with a partner co-therapist and receives ample support and supervision from their management team.Education/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology or anthropology plus 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program.

Twelve (12) college level semester hours in humanities or social services plus one (1) year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by the Department’s Office of Mental Health (OMH) as a mental health family-based worker.

Licensed RN plus have one (1) year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by the Department’s Office of Mental Health (OMH) as a mental health family-based worker.

$3,000 Bonus offered with a one-year commitment $3,000 Bonus payout as follows: $2,000 at time of hire,$500 after completion of 60 days, and $500 after 90 days probationary period.Additional Requirements: Flexible hours, includes some evening work.

Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work as a team member.

Act 33/34 and Fingerprints within 30 days of hire.

The agency’s incentive program/plan is a payment of 1 times a staff’s hourly rate of pay once their annual productivity expectation has been met.
