– Perform all chair-side duties to assist dentist
– Prepare patients for the dentist’s examination, including going over patient’s medical/dental history, discussing patient concerns, and taking x-rays.
– Understand and demonstrate proper sterilization, bio hazard, and infection control procedures in compliance with protocol.
– Knowledge of Digital X-rays; properly take and develop
– Demonstrate complete knowledge of dental terminology.
– Demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and proper tray setups.
– Perform all necessary lab procedures; writing lab RX, sending/receiving cases
– Responsible for stocking treatment areas/carts and dental related facility inventory.
– Capable of explaining diagnosed treatment to patientQualifications:
– Experience in a customer service environment and good computer skills are necessary.
– An upbeat attitude and outgoing personality are a MUST to succeed in this position.
– Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks.
– A people person/team playerRequired:
– Dental Assisting experience
– Must possess great chair side manners
– Ability to adapt to different needs and techniques
– An individual who can work under pressure and strives to advance
– An individual who adheres to policies and procedures
