This position will support the Vice Presidents of Production at both Paramount and Nickelodeon Animation studios, and will be responsible for overseeing the physical production of assigned animation projects. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: • Work with VPs to generate, review and manage production schedules for animation features • Review and monitor physical production costs of assigned films • Generate production schedules/budgets for potential films • Maintain overall studio production key milestone schedule • Collaborate with shows to implement Shotgun reporting for executives • Provide production analytics on prior and future shows • Work with VP of Talent to manage recruiting and staffing needs • Provide support to Animation Technology and Post-Production as needed Vendor Responsibilities: • Reach out and maintain relationships with all animation vendors • Monitor vendor capacity for current and future projects • Create and maintain animation vendor/studio tracking database QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS Basic qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 8 years’ experience with an Animation studio Desired Skills: • Able to handle multiple priorities • Proven track record of managing in a creative environment at a senior level • Deal-making, negotiation expertise • Film budgeting or bidding experience essential • Wide industry knowledge of people, process, and technique • Ability to identify and recruit talent a major plus • Deep understanding of animation physical production details and nuances • Experience in budgeting and estimating costs for various methods of production, understanding the nuances in the script and reporting them to senior management; expertise in bottom up budgeting • Ability to travel to locations both domestically and internationally • Experience working both in the field and in a corporate environment • Thrives in a fast-paced, fast-growing, collaborative environment • Deep knowledge of animation film industry Eligibility requirements: • Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $125,000.00 – 140,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
