We are seeking a talented and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional dental care to our patients. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dentists to provide comprehensive oral hygiene services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings to identify potential dental issues
- Clean teeth and gums, removing plaque, tartar, and stains using dental instruments
- Administer local anesthesia, as needed, to alleviate discomfort during procedures
- Take and develop x-rays and intraoral photographs to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and other preventive measures
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to help prevent tooth decay
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and completely in patient records
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team
- Familiarity with dental software and technology, including electronic health records and digital radiography
