We are looking for an experienced fun, outgoing, presentable, talented dental Hygienist to become a part of our growing team.
Are you fun, outgoing, personable, good with your hands, and want to join a popular, busy, beautiful practice in West Hollywood? We have an opening for a dental Hygienist Mondays, Wednesday, and Thursday, however we are flexible on other days except for Monday and Thursday.
Must be able to use a Cavitron, familiar with Laser treatments, take x-rays, breakdown and set up their rooms, coronal polish, place Arestin, and familiar with night guards, sleep guards, and Invisalign.
We operate on a bonus plus hourly which allows for a lot of room for financial growth in the company.

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. What do Dental Hygienists do? Dental Hygienist duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth (e.g. removing plaque) and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. You’ll help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handle dental emergencies. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, we’d like to meet you.
Description of role:
Our growing dental practice needs a Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. We serve all demographics of the population, from teenagers to the elderly, and we operate a busy office with high levels of traffic. In addition to preventive care appointments and scheduled procedures, we accept walk-ins and take emergency calls. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Tasks:
- Collect medical and dental histories from patients so that we can get a good background of patient health.
- Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
- Take digital scans of patients’ teeth for night guards, and splints
- Sterilize dental instruments and tools when there is downtime
- Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
- Take X-rays of patients’ teeth and develop them for dentist’s use and chart missing or present teeth
Skills and Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Current state license required
- 3+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Availability to work overtime
- Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
- Current CPR certification required
