We are looking for someone that is looking help establish the practice, take part in these life changing reconstructive therapies, learn new techniques, and grow with the practice long term.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Dental Assistant to join our practice. The successful candidate will work closely with our Prosthodontist to provide chairside assistance in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth, as well as the repair of damaged teeth. The Registered Dental Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the comfort and care of our patients, while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Prosthodontist in all procedures related to the restoration and replacement of teeth, including but not limited to crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported restorations.
- Take and record patient medical and dental histories, and document treatment plans in patient records.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, and answer any questions they may have about treatment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays), and assist in the management of patient flow and scheduling.
- Perform basic laboratory procedures – we are digital practice and will provide training in digital technologies.
- Maintain infection control protocols and follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
