CNO/Chief Nursing Officer/Vista Medical Center (acute care CNO experience required)

Vista Health System is a community healthcare provider; a network that includes Vista Medical East campus and the Vista Lindenhurst campus that includes Vista Ambulatory Care Center, Lindenhurst Surgery Center, LLC, a freestanding Emergency Center and the Medical Office Building.

The Vista Health system also has several locations for imaging, patient therapy and physician offices throughout Lake County, Illinois.

Vista Health System is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer.

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for the practice of Nursing by ensuring consistence in the standard of practice across the clinical settings.

As a member of the executive team, the CNO supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of care.

This includes creating a nursing environment in which collaboration is valued and excellence in clinical care and education is promoted and achieved.

The CNO ensures the continued advancement of the profession of Nursing.

Specifically responsible for: Nursing Operations Quality & Performance Improvement Patient Care & Clinical Outcomes Staff Management Service Line Growth Financial Management Compliance Leadership Communication & Relationship Building Nursing Travel to other Vista Health sites may be required We offer a competitive benefit package of Medical, Dental and Vision plans.
