Outpatient Los Angeles is recruiting for a LMFT, LCSW, AMFT, or ACSW for our Outpatient facility located in Los Angeles.
Outpatient Los Angeles is a Drug and Alcohol intensive outpatient center that takes a three-pronged approach to rehabilitation: medical detox, recovery, and mental health healing.
Our dynamic program is specially tailored to each individual that walks through our doors.
We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our team.
Supervision will be provided.
Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the daily treatment experience of each of his/her clients.
Weekly individual sessions with your assigned clients.
Bio-psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
Maintain appropriate documentation in KIPU system.
Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history and symptoms.
Provide couple/family psychotherapy as needed.
Conduct Group Therapy weekly.
Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.
Crisis intervention services, including 5150 determinations.
Participation in weekly Treatment Team Meetings
Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues.
Knowledge of the philosophy and approach of the 12-step model of recovery (AA, CA,NA,Alanon).
Minimum Qualifications
Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Specific qualifications may vary based on assignment.
_____ Must be at least 18 years of age
_____ Master or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or social science.
Licensed or registered with The California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LMFT, LCSW, AMFT or ACSW.
_____ Minimum of two years’ experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from mental illness and/or substance abuse.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
_____ CPR/First Aid certification required, obtain upon employment and maintain current thereafter.
_____ Criminal Background Clearance required
_____ Health Screen required
_____ Negative TB Test Results required
_____ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
