Right now, we have an exciting opening for a Clinical Nurse Manager in the Liver Transplant Unit, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.Reporting to the Unit Director, this is an excellent opportunity for you togrow your leadership abilities. We’re looking for you to model clinicalbest practices while helping to facilitate collaborative decision making andshared governance. You will establish clinical departmental goals and superviseclinical staff in order to achieve and exceed organizational objectives. Youwill also be responsible for collaborating with clinical educators to evaluateand develop core clinical competencies. This position involves the stewardshipof human, financial, and physical resources to ensure the delivery of thehighest quality care. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy while sharing24/7 management responsibility with the Unit Director.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a self-motivated individual with current CA RN licensure and:
BSN – MSN preferred
5 years of  current acute care experience in an acute hospital preferably with liver transplant experience
At least two years of charge RN or nurse leadership experience
Exceptional communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills
Advanced clinical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Attainment of progressive leadership positions desirable
Nursing Professional Leadership Certification is a plus
