Jobs-Indeed What will you be doing in this role? The HLA Clinical Laboratory Scientist II is a professional member of the laboratory staff who works with minimal supervision from supervisory personnel. As much as Fifty-five to eighty percent of the time is spent performing routine and technically complex laboratory tests and analyses requiring well-developed cognitive, manipulative, and problem-solving skills. Additional activities include operating and repairing test equipment, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of testing, and verifying and reporting test results. Additional duties include general support functions necessary for the routine operation of Laboratory activities. Educational Requirements: Baccalaureate degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related science. License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or limited California Certified Medical Technologist License in Histocompatibility. Experience: Minimum one (1) year relevant clinical experience. Four (4) years of satisfactory experience in HLA testing in an ABHI approved HLA laboratory or CHT License preferred.
