and Korea including a medical university, and CHAUM (a premier anti-aging life center).Professional RequirementsPosition Summary:The primary job duties this position is responsible for achieving are listed in order of importance.* Assures validity of test results.* Applies criteria for specimen rejection.* Demonstrates knowledge of Quality Control, calibration and standardization of instruments.* Exercises good judgment and proper interpretation of Quality Control data and assumes responsibility for decisions.* Trouble-shoots instruments and performs routine preventive maintenance.* Demonstrates knowledge of laboratory computer system regarding ordering, reports and verifies results and downtime computer procedures.* Is familiar with laws and regulations that apply to the laboratory.* Participates in training of new employees.* Demonstrates knowledge of age specific care, including but not limited to, identifying the need for additional safety measures, physiological normal values/readings; and assessing skin integrity, behavior, motor skills and/or activities that place patients at risk as well as communicates effectively in a clear, concise, understandable manner.* Applicable for the populations Infant, Pediatric, Adult and Geriatrics.* Incorporates HPMC mission of “quality care with compassion and respect” into daily performance of job functions.* Communicates problems/concerns to Supervisor.* Responds acceptably to priority specifications for tests.* Understands and can verbalize VBP goals/targets.
