Job Description A List Therapy Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to treat patients in the Home Health setting in the Los Angeles Area. Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Job Description/Requirements: The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) provides occupational therapy services & care to patients, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and according to the physician’s plan of care. They provide ROM and strength training, instruction, therapeutic Activities and exercises; Manual Treatment; help patients and families adapt to their environment, modify tasks, and use equipment to improve participation in every aspect of their daily lives. Educate patients/families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety as applicable to services provided. you will make your own schedule and complete follow up visits following an OT evaluation. This is an independent contractor position and the pay is $55-65 per visit. visits are 45 minutes in length. Previous home health work experience is preferred.
