Triage Representative will cross-check information and handles a high volume of billing for over 160 physicians.
Formats and verifies billing in reports.
Validates information and templates, and confirms that bills/reports are compliant with state regulations.
Works with doctors to optimize revenue.
Ensure all parties are served and other departments comply with deadlines.
Predict possible issues that could cause delay and work to prevent them.
PM shift:3:30pm 12:00am Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Formats reports and invoices, and verifies that required documents are available by the deadline.Calls to verify insurance and billing information with physicians.Follow-up with doctors on any missing information such as time spent.Works with management to resolve any billing issues.Perform data entry and post charge reports to all billing programs.Verify that valid templates are being used.Prints and prepares reports and bills for mail out and electronic submission.Amends any reports that need to be updated.Ensure bills/reports are compliant with state regulations.Optimize revenue for physicians.Cross-train with other tasks.
