# Position Summary: Plans and implements art therapy for patients and families.

Demonstrates commitment to a patient
– and family-focused model of care.

Provide individual and family Art Therapy at bedside for patients (age 2-21+) throughout the duration of hospitalization.

Establish a strong therapeutic relationship to allow for continuity of services for future inpatient and outpatient visits.

Have strong clinical skills and experience to able to focus treatment on: safety, emotional expression, chronic and terminal illness, palliative care/end of life/legacy work, complex trauma, grief, and crisis management.

# Minimum Qualifications: 2+#years of art therapy experience in inpatient or outpatient setting working with children and families.

Experience in medical setting preferred.# # Education/Licensure/Certifications: Master#s degree in Art Therapy from a school accredited by AATA Education Program Approval Board.

# ATR (Registered Art Therapist) or ATR-BC (Board-Certified Art Therapist) required.# Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification
