The Territory for this position includes: Utah, Arizona, Hawaii and CaliforniaPlease Visit our Careers Page to fill out an application and upload Resumehttp://aptevotherapeutics.Com/careers/I: Job SummaryRepresents Aptevo Therapeutics to targeted accounts and thought-leaders in an assigned territory with the goal of maximizing sales and establishing the company as a leader in the hemophilia marketplace.The incumbent must assume responsibility for achieving sales objectives by implementing approved marketing and sales strategies aimed at effectively selling and promoting corporate hemophilia products to key physicians, hospitals, nurses, home care companies, social workers, pharmacies, hemophilia/hematology organizations, and other appropriate paramedical customers who make or are involved in purchasing and prescribing decisions.

Requires the development of strategically targeted, account-specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local, regional and national market forces that impact product sales.II: ResponsibilitiesEffectively communicate sales territory activity and record sales call activity as directed to meet Regional Business Director expectations.Develop territory business plan to implement internal strategies to meet the desired goals of the respective territory.Remain competent as a product and disease state expert.

Participate in and contribute to marketing and sales meetings, training programs, displays, and conventions as appropriate.

Regularly complete corporate training and regulatory courses, as well as product knowledge training courses as assigned.Utilize approved Aptevo Therapeutics marketing materials and services to customers as appropriate.

Deliver on-label sales messages for maximum impact.Recognize territory trends and recommend solutions to sales and marketing leadership for evaluation.

Identify new physician prescribers within territory for additional sales opportunities.

Report competitor market intelligence pertaining to products and services within the hemophilia market.Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and displays as directed by management, which may require work/travel on weekends in addition to normal work hours.

Provide input into the design and content of Regional meetings/conventions; make presentations as necessary.Effectively manage time and account prioritization to ensure all defined target customers are regularly seen for effective sales messaging.Effectively manage territory budget to maximize sales impact.Identify, coordinate, plan and execute community based educational opportunities as prescribed by Aptevo Therapeutics marketing and sales departments.Adhere to Aptevo Therapeutics policies and procedures.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work performed by those in this job.

2 years of hemophilia/bleeding disorder pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.

Pharmaceutical sales experience in hospitals, home health/specialty pharmacies preferred.Strong relationship building skills required; able to maintain effective relationships with physicians, nurses, local hemophilia chapter directors, home care companies, social workers, pharmacies and other customers.General knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software.Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite or like programs required (Windows, Word, Excel).Must be a self-starter, independent contributor requiring minimal daily supervision.
·Strong communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages.Must be willing to travel 50-80% of the time, including overnights and weekends.

Drivers’ license required.IV: Physical/Mental RequirementsType/keyboard, visual acuity, stand, walk, sit, twist/turn, lift/carry 20 lbs, and pull 20 lbs.
