Nurse must be available to work between both Murray & Gordon Hospitals.

If the RN is not needed in tier 3 then they will be floated to work in either tiers 1 or 2 based on competency skills.

The tier 3 position requires a minimum of 1 shift per week, including 1 weekend day/month and 1 major & 1 minor holiday per year.You Will Be Responsible For: Gathers data/assess/reassess all populations served and complete primary assessment of all newly admitted and transferred patients Supervises Nursing Assistants in the process of basic nursing functions Acts as preceptor when needed Provides education to patients and families from admission to discharge Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge on all equipment used on the unitQualificationsWhat You Will Need: ASN or BSN degree Current GA RN license Current AHA BCLS/ACLS/PALS required Bed management and bed assignment experience required 2 years minimum nursing care with at least 1 year charge nurse experience required.Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients on the unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities.
