Description: Develops, leads, and coordinates corrective and preventative action plans Interacts with external suppliers regarding product requirements and nonconforming material Leads and coordinates product complaint response activities Develops on-going quality management system training to drive quality awareness throughout the organization Assists design engineering with developing Risk Management and Risk Analysis Plans Develops, validates, and implements required physical, chemical, and microbiological tests and procedures Provides technical support to quality assurance technicians for product inspection activities Adheres to safety rules, established manufacturing and quality practices, and procedures Complies with all company policies Performs other duties as assigned Analyzes manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and inspection Develops, applies, and maintains quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products and processes Serves as the primary quality assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
Supports concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer.
Designs and implements methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
Promotes and executes quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.
Develops, executes, and analyzes quality-reporting measures.
Reports to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
