Aadi Bioscience: Director Medical Communications

The Director of Medical Communications is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the publication plan and all Medical Affairs materials development, including advisory boards, MSL tools, and congresses.

The role will evolve as Aadi and Medical Affairs grows.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONSLead the creation of the communications strategies and publication plansChair the publication teamLead the timely execution of publication plans to produce high quality, accurate and impactful deliverables, including abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscripts, and slide decksManagement, training and supervision of medical communications staff including contractors, and vendors/agenciesDevelop and manage the Medical Communications budget and liaise with financial / project management for budget planning and trackingDevelopment of MSL education materials and field tools in collaboration with the MSL leadResponsible for the strategy and execution of clinical and medical advisory boardsRepresent Aadi at local, regional, and national congresses and meetings as necessaryServe as a liaison across several internal functions, including Clinical Development, Research, Manufacturing, and Marketing, to develop and coordinate the implementation of Medical Affairs strategic initiativesResponsible for the strategy and execution of patient advocacy and key institution engagement plansDefine, develop, and lead strategies and tactics to support an overall medical education planAdvanced scientific degree required7+ years of experience in industry (e.G., biotech/pharmaceutical/medical device company, Contract Research Organization), academic research, or public health including 5+ years in OncologyStrong experience in strategic publication planning (including scientific platforms), tactical publication planning and implementation, and the planning and development of medical educational materialsExperience launching novel biotech/pharmaceutical therapies is highly preferredCurrent working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulation guidelinesExcellent communication, presentation, and time management skills requiredAdaptable and able to work well within a team and relate effectively with people at all levels of the organizationAbility to partner with key internal and external stakeholders to understand key objectives and to drive plans that achieve or exceed these objectivesComfortable leading in a fast-paced small company environment, providing direction and setting priorities in line with Company objectivesOTHER REQUIREMENTSThis role can be performed remotely from a home office in the US
