Position Purpose: The Manager Project Management oversees the Integrated Strategy Management team and is part of the Community Impact (CI) Leadership Team accountable for ensuring the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated marketing (including digital), communications, and design plans that advance organizational outcomes.

The ISM team is the cornerstone of success for the Community Impact area.

The team helps implement the CI strategy, scopes critical work and priority projects (organizational, business units), oversees project life cycles, guides budgets/forecasts, and contributes to contracts and agreements.

ISM is a strategic hub of collaboration, coordination, integration, and systemization that facilitates the effective and efficient execution of complex projects and multi-faceted deliverables while building and sustaining relationships throughout the organization.

The Manager leads the team in these efforts.

This position works collaboratively with leaders within and outside the CI area to ensure deliverables that drive organizational goals.

The Manager is responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing projects, including negotiating mutually agreeable timelines and deliverables within budget.

This position works under the general direction of the Community Impact Director and is accountable for the joint development and management of standard operating procedures for the CI area, and has a continual focus on process improvement.Main Accountabilities:Provides authentic leadership and ensures the development of department team members.Works collaboratively with the ISM team, CI leadership, and other key stakeholders to streamline workflows and develop and maintain standard systems, processes, and procedures to most efficiently and effectively partner with CI teams and throughout the organization.Leads projects of significant scope and supports the team in effectively managing all Community Impact area projects.Ensures effective operational leadershipOther duties as assigned.Skills Required: The individual must have and be able to consistently apply the following skills at the levels indicated to produce the results required.Demonstrated expertise in program management and project planning, including negotiating and building alignment with cross-functional teams.Proven results in managing process improvement initiatives, including leveraging critical thinking to manage change and implement improvementsProven ability to establish work priorities, demonstrating sound judgment, flexibility, and adaptability to changing needs and competing demandsOutstanding ability to lead and develop people and teams, including experience integrating and building new teamsExceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; includes experience communicating technical concepts and business impact to team members and leadership in a readily understandable and actionable mannerOutstanding ability to think strategically, predict problems before they arise, and collaboratively resolve issuesAbility to independently research, analyze, and recommend solutions and best practices.Experience leading and overseeing contracts and budgets.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, management, marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.A minimum of 7 years of experience leading complex cross-functional projects, with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a management role.

Social sector experience is a plus.Direct experience working in marketing, communications, and design team environments; non-profit or healthcare experience highly desiredPrevious track record of driving organizational results highly desiredExperience creating and leading departmental and organizational change preferredExperience with cross-functional, transformational projectsJIRA, Smartsheet, (or project management tool equivalent) experience preferredPMP certification highly desiredHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or Google WorkspacePhysical Requirements:AACN requires Team Members performing work in-person to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing.
