Growth.*In your role, you will provide direct patient care in the surgical environment and works collaboratively with the surgeon and other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You will work under the direct supervision of the surgeon during the intraoperative phase. The RN First Assistant (RNFA) may not concurrently function as the Scrub Nurse while functioning as an RNFA.Qualifications: *Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and one year relevant experience in area of specialty.* Successful completion of an RNFA program that meets the Association of Perioperative RN (AORN) standards.* Credentialed by the CMC Medical Staff Office as an Allied Health Professional and privileged to perform RN First Assistant standardized procedures.* Current California Registered Nurse License.* Current BLS certification.* Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of entry into job.*Preferences:** Current Certified RN First Assistant (CRNFA) certification and/or Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) from the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI).Please note: Per the CDPH order, all healthcare workers are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption and test regularly.Please note: If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires and those candidates meeting current bonus requirements.
