Senior Music Publicist

ABOUT INFAMOUS INFAMOUS is a public relations agency based in Los Angeles.

We work with some of the leading artists in electronic and contemporary music including Rufus du Sol, Pete Tong, Wu Tang Clan, Eric Prydz, DJ Minx, Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, Channel Tres, Sita Abellan and more, as well as brands like NTS Radio, Rockstar Games, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Rainier, St Ides and others.

We produce and oversee the Lost Resort Twitch channel and work with some of the leading festivals around the world
– Primavera Sound, CRSSD, LiB, HARD Summer, Dirtybird Campout, Splash House, Oasis and many others.

ABOUT THE ROLE INFAMOUS is looking for a senior artist publicist to join our team.

We’re looking for someone with an understanding of pop culture, passion for all music, and a deep appreciation for electronic music.

The candidate must be able to lead campaigns, manage staff and client comms, and have strong national and local media connections.

Candidates should also have an interest in multi-platform publicity that extends beyond traditional editorial.

WHAT YOU HAVE * A minimum of four years of music or entertainment PR experience * You have overseen artist campaigns from start to finish, with a consistent track record of securing quality editorial results * Ability to provide direction to support staff, and a commitment to outstanding performance* Exemplary writing, communication and storytelling skills* Must excel in time management, organization, pay attention to details, take initiative and problem solve in a demanding, fast paced work environment* Insatiable curiosity for pop culture and music, and a voracious consumer of media and news.* Please note if you have any special skills and/or talents such as photography, videography, design, content creation, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO * Jump into leading multiple publicity campaigns with amazing artists* Help oversee drafting written material: press notes, press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, talking points, etc.* Manage team to produce campaign reports and press clippings.* Pitch and secure national media placements.

* Lead client comms on campaigns * Schedule, set-up and facilitate in-person, virtual, and/or phone interviews, conferences and artist appearances with media partners.

Oversee logistics of appearances, interviews, showcases, album releases parties and events.* Coordinate client activities and press schedules with teams* Keep track of all online client activity

Our office is located in Culver City, but we are currently working remotely.
