Publicity Assistant

Publicity Assistant Job Description: Monitor online and print publications for Network coverage, creating clip reports for department releases and show premieres Survey Network coverage across social media platforms in addition to tracking latest industry news and trends Pull Critical Mention hits including broadcast coverage, late night pickup and affiliate package airings Correspond with talent reps to update internal records and coordinate press requests Assist in development of travel itineraries including arranging transportation Assist with media site (press releases, storylines and biographies) to ensure all items are up to date Curate and build media lists for targeted press outlets and research specific press contacts Support publicity events including award shows, screenings, premieres, press junkets, etc. Process departmental invoices, submit expenses and executive expense reports Provide administrative support including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes, and other tasks as needed Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail Working knowledge of media – both traditional and social Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-conscious department Computer savvy – Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), remote communications tools (Zoom, WebEx, Google Hangouts), Shared Drives and Google docs College Degree Preferred ViacomCBS is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability/vet.
