General Summary of Position:
We?re looking for a talented B2B/Government Sales Professionals who will focus on new business development by selling local and long distance telephone services and data telecommunication products to the Public Sector (State, Local and Education).
Responsibilities:
- New Business Development Nationally for State, Local and Education Districts (SLED)
- Responsible for selling advanced Data solution based services such as MPLS, VPN, VOIP, SIP Trunking, Cloud-based PBX Wireless Networks, and dedicated internet access.
- Build and maintain a consistent sales funnel and pipeline.
- Identify prospect needs and create customized sales proposals.
- Maintain positive relationships with all your new clients.
- 3+ years of SLED experience
- Strong prospecting, selling and closing skills; proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales quotas.
- Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
- Public Sector/Government Experience (State, Local, and Education) experience highly preferred.
