Litigation Attorney – Product Liability – Los Angeles – Up to $190,000
The Role
Due to the development and expansion of the Firm’s Product Liability team it is now looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to work alongside the existing team on the defense of complex product liability and insurance coverage matters.
The team’s practice includes representing airlines, airports, municipalities, automotive manufacturers, government contractors, retailers, manufacturers and their insurers.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience, be proactive, motivated and organized and possess excellent writing skills.
The role will include:
- Taking depositions, arguing motions, and attending court hearings and mediations as required;
- Drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
- Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and drafting memoranda;
- Preparing status reports and recommendations to clients;
- Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation;
- Working on all aspects of litigation, from the initial responsive pleading through trial.
The Candidate
- A Litigation Associate with 2-5 years experience;
- Experience in the field of aviation, product liability and automotive warranty is ideal
- Experience with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act;
- Superior writing, and analytical skills;
- Strong Interpersonal skills;
- Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature;
- Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

- Attention to detail;
- Capable of working within a team.
