Assistant Account Executive/Account Executive – Consumer Public Relations

Overview FleishmanHillard San Francisco, a global integrated communications agency is looking for an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive to join its amazing Consumer Practice .

This position will work with our clients on integrated programs encompassing both media and influencer relations, consumer product communications, brand messaging, social media, and event planning.

Our expertise and clients span across consumer technology, health and wellness, wearables, gaming, sports, and more; this role will have an emphasis on our consumer technology clients.

Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day activities for one or more consumer tech client accounts to execute integrated communications programs that embrace all areas of communications for consumer clients, including corporate reputation, brand and product media relations, social media management, and crisis/issues management.

Assist with client services support, including meeting agendas, billing assistance, and project coordination.

Build and maintain media lists.

Help with media monitoring, tracking and reporting processes across accounts.

Pitch media and foster relationships with consumer tech, business, and lifesyle reporters.

Draft content for a range of internal and external audiences, press releases, memos, research, and media materials.

Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in a communications-focused role with an emphasis on communications and public relations.

Experience working with consumer technology and lifestyle clients is a plus.

Excellent writing capabilities.

Knowledge of relationships with consumer technology trends and media is a plus.

General understanding of drafting content across social media platforms.

Multitasker, self-starter, proactive, problem solver, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
