How You’ll help us to connect the world:

Ruckus a Commscope BU is hiring an accomplished Wireless Architect to work with our Wireless Systems Performance team. This is a unique team that leads RF and baseband innovations across our Wi-Fi access point product line, and involved in the benchmarking and certification of our access points.

We are hiring a senior-level architect has solid fundamentals in wireless communication theory, extensive experience and familiarity with Wi-Fi 802.11 standards and protocol stack to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Excel in a collaborative environment and lead RF/baseband innovations across the wider team in RUCKUS.

Participate in Wi-Fi systems performance tests for benchmarking and certification purposes.

Ensure a high-level of performance and robustness for new AP models.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex networking and deployment issues.

Be part of the customer-facing engineering team to support the sales efforts in public seminars and events, customer engagements, and critical issues.

Required Skills

Demonstrated experience and exposure with the IEEE 802.11 standards and protocol stack, especially in 802.11ac and 802.11ax.

Strong theoretical background in wireless networks and protocols, communication theory and RF propagation.

PhD or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related work experience.

Prior experience in the 802.11 standards body or wireless chipset vendor

Familiarity with cloud technologies and AI/ML techniques
