One of the world’s oldest recording labels is currently hiring a Senior Software Architect for their brand new Downtown Los Angeles based team. This team is currently 2 people in size, but the VP is looking to grow out the team focused on doing 100 greenfield development using Java11, Spring Boot Microservices, AWS, and DockerKubernetes. While that tech stack sounds pretty standard for most technology companies right now, this application is extremely unique. The application is brand new and will require about a month of research and discovery and will involve large amount of metadata. You will be responsible for the complete design and architecture of this metadata application, that will house millions of rows of data. The ideal candidate for this role should be a current Software Architect or Lead Engineer who wants to independently make decisions about best practices and also be interested in building a team around them. The team will likely be about 5 inhouse engineers.
